Euan Shifa was born in Nice on August 28, 1971. He has been recognized as a talented and prolific playwright and cartoonist in the comics industry. He is also an anime and film director. After obtaining a master’s degree in philosophy and taking some painting courses, he entered the morphology course at the Academy of Fine Arts in Paris. In 1994, his work began to be published in L’Association Publishing House.
Many comics created by Euan Shifa and French cartoonist Emmanuel Gilbert appeared in major bookstores in Europe. “Rabbi’s Cat”, written and drawn by him, won the Alpha Art Award at the Angolan International Comic Festival in 1998. The animation of the same name directed by him also won the best animation at the Annecy Animation Festival in the same year. Jackpot.
