Green is one of the most well-known contemporary British comic artists. Born in London, England in 1971, he has shown his talent in painting since his childhood. When he was 18 years old, he had already published works in local British publications, and won awards for the best comic style and best color at the British International Comics Festival in 1995, and he jumped into the ranks of the most famous British artists. He was also invited to serve as art design and costume design for the movies “Star Wars-8”, “Star Wars-9”, “Secret Service Academy”, and “Batman”.
In 2010, Green’s work “Brown World” was published in the United Kingdom and the United States, and won the 2013 American Ainas Art Award. The famous American cartoonist Jamie Hewlett praised this work and said: “This book makes me envy in art, and makes me jealous in storytelling, and the beautiful watercolor paintings surprised me even more. I think Green is the greatest cartoonist in Britain today!”
