Peter Cooper’s illustrations and cartoons have appeared in newspapers and magazines all over the world. He is a regular contributor to The New Yorker and frequently publishes works in The New York Times, TIME Magazine, Newsweek, Inter Milan, Le Monde, and National Geographic.
The work “Ruins” won the 2016 Eisner Prize and the 2017 Ruben Prize. Peter adapted many works of novelist Franz Kafka into comics including “The Metamorphosis”, and adapted Joseph Conrad’s “Heart of Darkness” into comics. He has taught comics courses at the New York School of Vision since 1987 and is a visiting professor at Harvard University.
